Bang-od is an 86 years old woman who traces her roots fromSaclit,Sadanga.Mt.Province and Buscalan,Tinglayan,Kalinga she is the last of tattooe artist who still at an old age practices the traditional Kalinga 'batek'tatttoing method using simple implements such as citrus tree thorn,soot,water and a lot of artistry.Presently two young apprentices are showing signs of interest in the tattooing art.
